I recently returned to the Inn on the Square in Keswick and found it offers decent luxury at a reasonable price, particularly with their dinner, bed & breakfast with gin fizz on arrival deal. The Town room was well-furnished, providing a comfortable stay, while amenities like tea and coffee facilities and free Wi-Fi helped maintain a cozy vibe. While last year's dining experience was satisfactory, this time the restaurant's food seemed to have elevated a notch, with more options on the table d'hote menu. Be aware of the additional costs; sides aren't included with your meal. The staff were polite and attentive, efficiently managing our requests, which added to the overall experience. The proximity to local attractions means you get convenience wrapped in this package, making it a solid choice for luxury travel without a hefty price tag. For those looking at value versus luxury, the Inn on the Square strikes a commendable balance.
